Get paid without having the awkward conversation.
An invoice chaser watches Xero for what is overdue, sends the reminder you would have sent anyway, on the schedule you set, and stops the moment they pay. It writes each reminder to fit how late the payment is and how long you have worked with that customer, so the fourth one does not read like the first. You see the rules before any of it starts.
It is not that you forget. It is that you would rather not.
Chasing money means deciding that today is the day, then writing an email that is firm but not rude, to somebody you want to keep working with. So it slides. Thirty-day terms quietly become sixty, sixty become ninety, and the conversation gets harder the longer it is left.
Meanwhile the money is yours, the work is done, and you are the one carrying it.
Five things, so you never have to start the conversation.
Watches Xero
Checks what is outstanding and how overdue it is. It reads from Xero, so it is never working from a figure someone typed into a spreadsheet last week.
Chases on your schedule
You decide the timings. Three days before due, on the day, a week after, a fortnight after. Whatever matches how you actually work.
Writes it the way you would
A gentle nudge at day three does not sound like a fourth reminder at day sixty. Same information, different register.
Stops the moment they pay
Payment lands in Xero, chasing stops. Nobody gets a reminder for an invoice they settled that morning, which is the failure that damages a relationship most.
Tells you when to stop being polite
When something has gone past the point where another email will fix it, it stops and tells you, rather than sending a ninth one.
Less than you might expect, on purpose.
Chasing money is a place where predictability matters more than cleverness. Most of this is rules you set, and that is deliberate. The AI does two things.
AI
It writes the reminder
Matched to how overdue the invoice is and how long the customer has been with you. This is the part people put off because getting the tone right is genuinely hard.
AI
It reads the reply
Works out whether "I will sort it Friday" is a promise worth tracking or a question that needs you. It never answers a query itself.
You
You decide when it escalates
When to stop emailing and pick up the phone is a relationship decision, not an automation one. It hands that back to you rather than guessing.
The part that matters
It never chases someone who has paid.
One badly timed reminder to a good customer costs more than the invoice. That is the failure this is built to avoid.
It reads from Xero, not from a copy
Always the live position. No stale spreadsheet, no invoice chased twice because two systems disagreed.
You set every rule before it starts
Timings, wording, who is excluded. Nothing sends on a schedule you have not seen.
It never invents a figure
Every amount, date and reference comes from Xero. It cannot get a number wrong because it does not produce numbers.
Pause anyone, any time
A customer going through something, a disputed invoice, an account you handle personally. One switch, and it leaves them alone.

Common questions
What people ask before they say yes.
Will it annoy my customers?
Less than a human chaser would, in our experience of building it. It is polite, it is on time, and crucially it stops the second they pay. Most late payment is not people avoiding you, it is an invoice sitting in someone else's approval queue. A reminder that arrives on schedule and never arrives wrongly is usually welcomed.
What if they have already paid?
Then it does not chase. It reads the live position in Xero rather than a snapshot, so payment landing means chasing stops. This is the failure that matters most and it is designed out rather than handled after the fact.
Can I exclude certain customers?
Yes, and you should. Anyone you would rather ring yourself, anyone in dispute, anyone you have an arrangement with. Excluding them takes one switch and they are simply never included.
What happens if someone replies?
It reads the reply, works out whether it is a promise to pay or a question, and either tracks the promise or puts it in front of you. It does not answer questions about your invoices on your behalf.
Does it only work with Xero?
Xero today, because that is what we have built and tested against. If you use something else, tell us on the call and we will say honestly whether it is a fortnight of work or not worth doing.
What if Xero changes something?
That is what the monthly fee covers. Accounting software changes its API without asking. We watch for it and fix it, which is why we do not hand these over and walk away.
